Woody Marks
Sleeper Running Back Woody Marks Shows Well at the NFL Combine
3 weeks ago

Woody is leaving his Mark at the 2025 NFL Combine.

The depth of the 2025 rookie running back class cannot be understated. The class is led Ashton Jeanty and the next few running backs would normally be ranked at the top back in the class. An underrated back who will go later in rookie drafts is USC’s Woody Marks.

Marks came away with a 4.54 40-yard dash. His 35’’ vertical and 9’11’’ broad jump lend credence to his play on the field. From 2022-2024 Marks had 46, 24, and 47 receptions respectively. His 2023 season he played only 9 games. Marks will be a perfect 3rd down back who can provide extra juice in the receiving game.

While Marks is on track to be a day 3 selection in the NFL Draft, it is no knock on his skill set as there are so many other talented running backs to choose from. It will be tougher for Marks to slide under the radar after his combine performance.
