With draft capital up in the air, Jalen Milroe looks to tighten up his draft stock at the Senior Bowl.
Much was made of whether or not Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe would declare for the 2025 NFL draft. Milroe offers dual threat ability that is appealing to fantasy gamers, however his passing leaves plenty to be desired for the NFL game.
As a junior, Milroe threw for 2,844 yards with 16 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. This isn’t a ratio that will gather long standing impact at the next level. The draw will be what Milroe offers on the ground. In 2024, Milroe had 168 carries for 726 yards and an astounding 20 touchdowns.
Offering video game numbers in fantasy due to his rushing ability, Milroe drafters will have some hope that he can take the Jalen Hurts path. Milroe is no slam dunk for first round draft capital as he has a Pro Football Focus rank at 68 on their Big Board 2025. This would place Milroe in the 3rd round. Teams to monitor for interest include the Las Vegas Raiders, Cleveland Browns, and New York Giants.
