Ricky Pearsall
Ricky Pearsall Drafted 31st Overall by the 49er's in the First Round
1 week ago

The wide receiver from Florida is ready to chomp his way up the depth chart with the 49er’s.

Ricky Pearsall has been selected by the 49er’s with the 31st pick overall in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft. The Florida Gator gained plenty of buzz in the pre-draft process and that buzz has been validated with such an early investment by San Francisco.

The 6’1,’’ 189-pound prospect who ran a 4.41 40-yard dash has been chopping it up on the practice field with Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle in the offseason. Pearsall can track the ball mid-play and adjust with soft hands. Pearsall looks to be a player who has a better NFL career versus college as scouts want to see what he can do with a more accurate quarterback. For visual proof, look no further than Pearsall’s one-handed catch from the sky against the Charlotte 49er’s.

Ricky Pearsall joins Deebo Samuel, Brandon Aiyuk (for now), and George Kittle and will have Brock Purdy throwing him the football. Ricky Pearsall had a pre-draft closing ADP in the 150’s on UnderDog fantasy and is currently our 12th ranked rookie wide receiver. Look for Pearsall to rise post NFL draft in respective rankings across several fantasy platforms and contests.
