Rashee Rice
Rashee Rice Should be in Form to Start the Season
1 week ago

Reports are that he looks great and may be game ready right now, movements are looking fluid and not hindered by the injury.

Rashee Rice tore his LCL in week 4 of the 2024 season, just as he was stepping up as the focus of Kansas City’s offense. With at huge 12 reception for 110 yard and TD game in week 3, many were calling Rice an early season league winner. Since this was an LCL tear, rather than the dreaded ACL, recovery times are much faster and Rice may be able to pick up right where he left off as soon as the season opens.

There is still a level of uncertainty to Rashee Rice in fantasy — the team dynamic has evolved with the late season emergence of Xavier Worthy, Marquis Brown is himself recovered from an injury and will have a full year of experience with the offense, and KC drafted promising receiver Jalen Royals in the 4th Round. Oh yeah, and some guy named Travis Kelce is still kicking around on the roster. The volume uncertainty paired with a possible NFL suspension has depressed Rice’s value to the point at which he could be a league winner again, making him a particularly appealing player in Best Ball formats.
