Former Syracuse University quarterback Kyle McCord is visiting Steelers and Giants, which are both quarterback needy teams.
Quarterback Kyle McCord, fresh off a record-breaking season at Syracuse, has scheduled pre-draft visits with the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New York Giants. McCord, who transferred from Ohio State, set an ACC single season passing record with 4,779 yards and 34 touchdowns in 2024.
The Steelers, holding the 21st overall pick, are evaluating quarterback prospects, including McCord, as they consider their options for the future of the position. Similarly, the Giants have shown interest, hosting McCord for a top 30 visit as they explore potential quarterback additions.
McCord’s strong arm, poise under pressure, and impressive college statistics make him a compelling candidate for teams seeking to bolster their quarterback depth in the upcoming draft. If he could get drafted from one of these quarterback needy teams, he very well can become one of the steals in this year’s NFL Draft and Rookie Drafts.
