Get to know your future RB1, Ohio State’s Quinshon Judkins.
Ohio State’s Quinshon Judkins played 2 seasons at Ole Miss before transferring to Ohio State. He was dominant, clearing the 1500 yard mark as a true freshman and becoming the RB1 in the 2025 draft class. He followed up his 2023 campaign with a solid 1100 yard effort in 2024, despite experiencing a slight dip in yards per carry (5.7 to 4.3). Prior to his junior year he decided to transfer to Ohio State pairing with another future NFL back in TreVeyon Henderson.
Judkins has it all. He has the size at 6′ 220, the agility, and the physicality the NFL scouts drool over. For the fantasy community he has the early breakout and the early declare status you will be looking for in a foundational dynasty back. If someone wanted to point to the dip in production, you could argue that he saved himself tread on the tires. His carries decreased from 271 to 183 this year while sharing carries with another NFL back in Henderson.
On film, Judkins displays the explosive jump cuts and ability to make people miss that are rare for a player with his build. He does not have homerun caliber long speed, but he consistently has break away runs. His calling card is his destructive ability upon first contact, and that makes him one of the most exciting prospects in this class. He truly punishes defenders looking to tackle him.
He is going to be a FACTOR BACK at the next level, my comp for him is David Montgomery. If he is a day 2 pick of the Chargers, Vikings or Browns, I think he could win rookie of the year. Despite a deep running back class, he could be a gem that we are asking how he wasnt the RB1 in the class come this time next year.
