The Tyreek Hill era in Miami is officially over.  The Miami Dolphins have released the eight-time Pro Bowl wide receiver as part of a major roster overhaul this offseason, the team announced Monday.  The move clears significant salary cap space, roughly $22.8 million and marks the first time in his career that Hill will hit free agency.

Hill, who missed much of the 2025 season while recovering from a dislocated knee and torn ACL, has been a cornerstone of the Dolphins offense since arriving in a trade back in 2022.  With his future health still uncertain, Miami opted to part ways as it reshapes the roster under new leadership.

Now an unrestricted free agent for the first time, the 32-year-old star’s next destination is sure to be one of the top storylines of the offseason, provided he can return to full strength.
