De'Von Achane
De'Von Achane and Jaylen Wright to have Huge Roles in Miami
1 month ago

Miami Dolphins expect the running tandem of De’Von Achane and Jaylen Wright to have a big year in the running game.

Miami Dolphins running back De’Von Achane expects a much bigger season in 2025 than in 2024. His goal is to have over 1,000 yards rushing and 500 yards receiving. This is within reach for the back who finished as RB5 and RB6, respectively the previous two seasons.

Achane suffered a high ankle sprain in Week 1 of 2024. A high ankle sprain is a brutal injury that players continue to play through; the pain never disappears until the injury is fully healed after sufficient rest. The injury will sap a player of their top-end speed. Achane is known for his speed, so imagine the ceiling Achane can reach after being fully healed.

Jaylen Wright is expected to have a large role also, with Raheem Mostert gone to Las Vegas. Wright is an athletic freak with excellent size at 5’11” and 210 lbs with 4.38 speed. The Dolphins’ offense sputtered most of the 2024 season, but if they can stay healthy, they can be nearly unstoppable.

Achane seems to be dropping in ADP, and it’s confusing considering his finish in 2024. He will be an absolute steal for players who can scoop him up. Wright should be a top 20 option for all formats, and he will have top-five potential should Achane sustain any injury. Fantasy owners are hoping for injury luck in Miami.
