Marvin Harrison Jr Set for a Big Year Two

Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon has praised wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr for the work he has put in to be better in his second season

Marvin Harrison Jr will be the first to tell you he did not have the season he wanted to have in his rookie year. The Arizona Cardinals took Harrison No. 4 overall in the 2024 NFL Draft to make an immediate impact on the team.

Harrison had 62 catches, 885 receiving yards and eight touchdowns. While that stat line is nothing to sneeze at, fellow first-round receivers Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr has better overall numbers. Arizona head coach Jonathan Gannon went on Mad Dog Radio with Adam Schein to praise the work Harrison has put in to improve for the 2025 season. Gannon stated that Harrison came to him with a paper detailing all of the things he needs to improve for this year—rather then Gannon providing it.

The sky is the limit for Harrison. He will need to get on a better page with quarterback Kyler Murray to match the stats that Nabers and Thomas Jr put up last season.

Harrison Jr’s high average draft position (ADP) in fantasy leagues last season was disappointing; he ended up as WR30 by season’s end. The Ohio State product should take a massive step forward this season and challenge for a top 10 campaign at wide receiver. He may be a good dynasty trade target should he falter to start the season. Harrison will be a very valuable asset to have for managers with patience.
