The Los Angeles Rams and RB Kyren Williams have agreed to a three-year $33M extension.
The Los Angeles Rams and star running back Kyren Williams have agreed to a three-year $33M contract extension that will have him under team control for the next four seasons. The 2022 fifth-round pick has been a staple in the Rams’ offense for the last two seasons, and the extension should put any worries to rest if he his the workhorse back.
Over the past two seasons, Williams has totalled 2,443 rushing yards, twenty six rushing touchdowns, 1,622 yards after contact, and 146 rushes for first downs and should not expect anything less than a heavy workload again this season. Blake Corum was drafted in 2024, and Jarquez Hunter was added to the backfield in the 2025 rookie draft. Those two will have to battle it out for the backup job because the Rams clearly show loyalty and confidence in Williams with today’s signing.
