The Michigan Wolverine will be wearing orange and black in 2024 with Bengals.

If you were a fan of the NFL during the 2000s and recall hearing the name “Kris Jenkins”, you are not mistaken. Kris Jenkins not only inherited his father’s name but also his father’s legacy. Just like his father, Jenkins was picked in the 2nd round of the NFL draft.

Jenkins played a crucial role in the University of Michigan’s championship-winning culture. He was a dominant force in the middle of the defensive line, providing strength, energy, and leadership both on and off the field. Racking up a combined 113 tackles and 4.5 sacks during his college career at Michigan.

Jenkins will have to step up in both filling his father’s shoes and the hole in the middle of the Bengal’s defensive line after D.J Reader signed with Detroit this offseason. The Bengals address their need for a defensive lineman. Jenkins has the potential to become a consistent presence for the Bengals and can help the team control the game in the trenches on the line of scrimmage.
