Kedon Slovis clocks in as fastest QB at Combine.

Kedon Slovis’s collegiate career has been one that many could not have predicted back in 2019. As a freshman in the Pac-12, he threw for 30 touchdowns with only 9 interceptions, completing over 71% of his passes. Clovis looked like he might be a star in the making.

His first year in college turned out to be Slovis’s brightest days, his productivity decreased with each passing year, eventually reaching its lowest point in his final year at BYU. As a result, Clovis is not considered a strong candidate for the NFL draft, with his potential draft position ranging from a very late pick to going undrafted altogether.

Slovis exhibited his sneaky athleticism by clocking a 4.56 40-yard dash at the Combine, making him the fastest QB. Slovis’ time ranked 65th out of the 321 players who attended the NFL Combine this year.
The journey ahead will be tough for Slovis. He will need a few breaks to get real playing time on an NFL field.
