Justin Fields
Justin Fields Could See Heavy Rushing Usage in 2025

Jets football analyst Joe Caporoso is projecting 150 carries for Justin Fields this season, which could put him in a QB1 role

Justin Fields will finally get a second shot as a teams starting Quarterback, after getting the boot for Caleb Williams in Chicago and then again missing out on a starter role in Pittsburg because of Russell Wilson. When Fields last took the…field… as a starter he did quite well for himself, a QB 9 finish in 2023 and a whopping QB 5 finish in 2022 for fantasy points per game could once again be back in play.

Fields never really got there with his passing, he ranked in the bottom third of nearly all passing metrics, both volume and efficiency, while starting for Chicago – however his prowess in the run game has really been dominant. In the 2022 season fields ended with 160 carries for 1143 rushing yards and 8 rushing Touchdowns. If he is able to make good on a 150 carry projection a similar stat line and a top 12 QB finish is well within reach.
