Jonathan Mingo has been placed on IR with Foot Injury. Panthers owner David Tepper in Hot Water after video surfaces of him throwing drink on fan.

The Carolina Panthers have placed Rookie Wide Reciever Jonathan Mingo on IR Tuesday with a Foot Injury. This move will end Mingo’s rookie season with 43 receptions for 418 yards on 85 Targets and no touchdowns. He ranks 14th in receiving yards amongst this year’s rookie pass catchers. Mingo is 2nd in this year’s wide receiver class with a 110.2 athleticism score. He had a 114.2 Speed Score(96th percentile), 131.7 Burst Score(91st percentile) and a 4.46 50-yard dash(77th percentile). Mingo’s underwhelming rookie season could be blamed on a Carolina Panthers offensive disaster that resulted in the head coach being fired. The Panthers ranked dead last in total yards per game with 269.4 and second to last in passing yards per game with 167.1. It can only go up from here…..right?

If the owner is a sign of how an organization is run, then the Panthers are in hot water. A video surfaced showing Owner David Tepper throwing a drink in the direction of a Jacksonville Jaguars fan. The season has reached a boiling point for Tepper and his anger got the best of him after the 26-0 loss to Jacksonville. The video created waves on social media and resulted in the NFL fining Tepper $300,000. The NFL said that “all NFL personnel are expected to conduct themselves at all times in ways that respect our fans and favorably reflect on their team and the NFL.” David Tepper may be soaked in team spirit but this is not the way to make a splashy statement.
