Joe Flacco
Joe Flacco is Back with the Browns

The Browns bring in Joe Flacco while still amidst the search for their future franchise quarterback.

The Cleveland Browns are bringing back quarterback Joe Flacco. The 1-year deal is worth up to $4 million and can turn into $13 million from incentives reached.

Superflex dynasty managers have fond memories of plugging Joe Flacco into their lineups with his late-career Jameis Winston-like boom.  The last 2 years have benefitted both Flacco managers and those who have had skill position players on the Cleveland Browns and Indianapolis Colts.

This move buys time, stability, and flexibility for the Browns future plans at quarterback. Any rookie they bring in can have extra time if needed while Joe Flacco begins the season as the teams’ starter. Should the Browns not come away with a Shedeur Sanders or a Jaxson Dart they will be able to pursue Kirk Cousins. Consider Joe Flacco signing as a step towards Cleveland Browns players such as Jerry Jeudy and David Njoku as being closer to the path of significant fantasy relevance in 2025.
