Joe Flacco
Joe Flacco comfortable with Cleveland QB Room

The 18 year veteran Quarterback is at ease returning to Cleveland after being shown the door in favor of Deshaun Watson just over a year ago.

Joe Flacco is currently atop the absolutely most chaotic quarterback situation in the NFL. The 40 year old former super bowl winning veteran who took Cleveland to the playoffs just 2 seasons ago, apparently has a shot of leading the team for as long as his arm doesn’t fall off this year. Behind him are two first round flame outs in Kenny Pickett and the injured Deshaun Watson, and a 3rd Round Dillon Gabriel, who the team drafted primarily to prevent the owners from drafting Shedeur Sanders, which they did in the 5th round of the 2025 draft. What a mess.

If Flacco does win the job, it will probably be tough going. This team is as comically lacking in receiving talent as it is in Quarterbacks. The addition of Diontae Johnson might hurt the development of Cedric Tillman, and potentially impact team cohesion in the meantime – Johnson could not hold down a position last year and ended up on 4 teams in 1 season…woof. The whole passing situation in Cleveland should be a stay away for the foreseeable future, if you must draft Cleveland players stick to the running backs.
