The New York Jets have officially opened up the 21-day window for Aaron Rodgers to return from injured reserve.
How in the blue hell has Aaron Rodgers been cleared to return to football activities after tearing his Achilles 79 days ago? Well, here we are. Rodgers returned to practice today and was slinging it around to his Jets teammates.
It seems inevitable at this point that Rodgers will return before the season’s end in order to give the Jets a final push to try and make the payoffs. If fantasy managers have not done so already, you should try to add Rodgers now and stash him in your IR spot, especially in two-quarterback and super-flex leagues.
The Jets probably have no shot of making the playoffs, but fantasy managers who have lost their starters for the season may have a glimmer of hope with Rodgers as a league winner. Rodgers has a very favorable schedule for Week 13 through Week 16 with match-ups against the Falcons, Texans, Dolphins, and Commanders.
