Giants head coach Brian Daboll is reportedly “high” on Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart.

As draft night is fast approaching information has come out that the Giants’ head coach Brian Daboll is “high” on Ole Miss quarterback Jaxon Dart. According to SNY’s Connor Hughes “Sources I touched base with said he’s someone Daboll is high on — most out of QBs other than Cam Ward. Among qualities Daboll values in QBs is toughness. Dart has that.” Another development involves the Giants GM Joe Schoen’s son posting a Jaxson Dart highlight reel on his Instagram, then locking his profile to private the evening before the draft. Taking Dart at number 3 overall may be a significant reach but if they want to ensure they get Dart, this might be the way to go. Although the Giants could trade back to a team looking to take one of the elite players in Travis Hunter or Abdul Carter, since Cam Ward is all but a lock for the Titans as the first pick.

Jaxson Dart is sure to give the Giants a boost in the passing game, with Malik Nabers as his top weapon. The Giants moved on from Daniel Jones and went with undrafted Tommy Devito at quarterback. Even then the Giants need to be able to protect Dart, otherwise they may have another Daniel Jones situation. Dart may end up with better numbers than Cam Ward in their rookie season, considering their respective offensive skill players. Look for Dart to be a value play in Superflex formats and a potentially sneaky great pick in dynasty..
