Jaxson Dart
New York Giants Trade up to Select Jaxson Dart
2 weeks ago

While not a top 10 pick, the Giants grab a first round quarterback to develop for the future. By selecting Abdul Carter and then Dart, New York may be at a positive inflection point for their franchise.

Jaxson Dart does in fact rise all the way up to the second quarterback selected in the 2025 draft, and lands on a team that is showing signs of turning the franchise around. As a first round quarterback on a team with 2 viable starting QB’s on the roster, Dart should be able to sit and develop for a future starting position without getting thrown into the deep end right away. The Giants are still likely to add offensive players both in this draft and in 2026 to further help Dart once he takes over as the starter.

What this means for FastDraft is a complete stay away for this year, but it’s actually wheels up in SuperFlex Dynasty leagues, especially since he will likely fall to Round 2 in rookie drafts. Patience is a virtue that could potentially pay off big down the line for those who can afford to stash Dart for a year or two.
