JSN underwent wrist surgery just last month, but looks ready to make his NFL debut, Sunday against the Rams, according to Head Coach Pete Carroll. This is a surprisingly quick turnaround and a positive outcome for the young WR. He “hasn’t made a peep” about his wrist, said Carroll on Wednesday, and that there is no hesitation to start him on Sunday.

This is good news for Geno Smith, going against a suspect Rams secondary on Sunday, a perfect matchup to prove that last year was not a fluke, and an opportunity to put up big fantasy numbers. This is a slight hit for DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett, who obviously would have benefitted from JSN being out, but overall not a huge dip. Jake Bobo, the other rookie from this class, looks to be the odd man out despite his rise to the WR3 slot with the other reciever injuries. Look for Jaxon Smith-Njigba to make a splash in his first game out.
