Jaxson Dart
More Than Just a Dart Throw, Jaxson Declares for NFL Draft
3 weeks ago

Ole Miss Quarterback Jaxson Dart declared for the NFL Draft after 4 years of college ball.

In a class with no consensus #1 Quarterback, and really no locked-in top 5, Jaxson Dart could rocket up draft boards come April. The 4th year Senior put together a very impressive campaign for Ole Miss this year: he finished 3rd in pass yards (4,279) and 10th in touchdowns (29), he had an impressive completion percentage (69), and ended the year with the highest passer rating in the college game (180.7). Dart also displayed cheeky rushing upside, adding 495 yards and 3 scores on the ground

Oddly enough, at this stage in the draft process Jaxson Dart isn’t being talked about as an early pick — that could change with an impressive Senior Bowl appearance this week. With how crucial the QB position is and how many teams still need a solution, don’t be surprised if Dart ends up in the 1st round. Any of the Raiders, Jets or Saints could use a top 10 pick on him, but should he fall to the later rounds the Seahawks at 18, Steelers at 21, or Rams with pick 26 are all in play.
