Jarquez Hunter
Jarquez Hunter Drafted to the Rams in Round 4

The LA Rams add a strong, physical runner as more depth to their backfield in the 2025 NFL Draft

Jarquez Hunter joins the LA Rams as a compact, downhill runner at 5’9” and 204 lbs, who didn’t flash elite athletic traits during the pre-draft process but showed enough functional strength and vision to carve out a role. The Rams certainly have a type at the RB position as Hunter enters a crowded backfield that includes similar RB’s in Kyren Williams and Blake Corum.

The Rams offense just maintained continuity as they continue to ease the load on Matthew Stafford, and Hunter’s tough, SEC-tested frame will add to that continuity. He’s not expected to challenge for the starting role early, but with the durability concerns around Williams, Hunter may get opportunities to prove his worth. While his Dynasty upside is capped without a clear path to a lead role, Hunter is a name to monitor if injuries strike since the Rams are so adverse to running back committees.
