Jameson Williams
Jameson Williams on Track for Massive Breakout
2 weeks ago

Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell has high praise for speedy wideout Jameson Williams entering his 4th year in the league.

Jameson Williams came out of Alabama as one of the fastest players in the 2022 NFL Draft. While his start in the league was delayed by an ACL injury and a gambling suspension, his 3rd year in the league showed us what he is capable of. Williams appeared in 15 games and had 58 catches, 1,001 yards and 7 touchdowns. At 17.3 yards per catch, Williams’ speed was clearly evident. Lions head coach Dan Campbell was effusive in his praise of Williams and his development as a route runner. The Lions will look to make Jamo a focal point in the passing game. Williams will have competition in fellow reciever Amon Ra St. Brown, tight end Sam LaPorta, and receiving back Jahmyr Gibbs. It is wise to utilize all the weapons in their disposal, so the Lions offense will look to be lethal again for opposing defenses in 2025.

Jameson Williams finished 2024 as WR22. Look for him to be a potential top 10 receiver in 2025. His playmaking ability is too rare to keep contained, the Lions will rely on him to continue making splash plays at a more consistent level. His current ADP of WR24 makes him an absolute steal in any format. Look to acquire him in all league settings.
