Brevin Jordan
Brevin Jordan Extended 1 Year by Texans

By extending Brevin Jordan for another year, the Texans are interested in seeing what the young Tight End has to offer.

While lacking a true star at the position, Houston does have plenty of talent in the Tight End room. Dalton Schultz had a mini-renaissance catching passes from C.J. Stroud, Cade Stover has shown flashes in limited action his rookie season, and 2nd round draft pick Irv Smith is standing by on the practice squad. All that to say, Houston could have walked away from a 4th year player at the end of his rookie contract who has not really produced and also tore his ACL. And yet they didn’t.

Brevin Jordan is still young by TE standards, he will just turn 25 before the start of next season. While he currently should not be rostered in all but the deepest dynasty leagues, keep an eye on Brevin and the Houston TE room next year. He did catch 3 touchdowns on just 28 receptions his rookie season, and looked smooth on his 76 yard touchdown catch vs the Browns in the 2023 Wild Card game. Check the tape.
