The Titans draft offensive help for Cam Ward by selecting Texas TE Gunnar Helm with pick 120

The Tennessee Titans are adding talent for their rookie QB by drafting Texas TE Gunnar Helm as one of three pass catchers selected by them so far in 2025. Helm, known for his impressive size and athleticism, is expected to make an immediate impact with his ability to block and stretch the field as a receiving threat.

Helm took a massive hit to his draft stock when he unfortunately twisted his ankle running the 40 at the combine, however he showed true grit by getting back on the track and running a SECOND REP on his twisted ankle. Helm has a key piece of the Texas offense last season, stepping into a target vacuum after last years draft and making the most of it. The 6’5”, 250 lb. TE is a versatile player with strong hands and a solid route-running ability, traits that should complement the Titans’ offense well. Helm will have to beat out incumbent Chig Okonkwo and two other 4th round rookies, but should he do so he could grow into Wards second favorite target.
