Jaxson Dart will make the start for the Giants this Sunday, just two weeks after Russell Wilson threw for the second-most passing yards in his career against the Cowboys. Wilson has looked miserable apart from that, however, and the Giants’ 0-3 start has the coaching staff looking for answers. [Side note: I’m starting all fantasy players against the Cowboys defense until further notice.]

All external reports indicate that the Giants may have found a special player in Dart. After a four-year collegiate career at both USC and Ole Miss, Dart climbed up draft boards before the 2025 NFL draft. The Giant moved back up into the end of the first round to draft the 22-year-old, who threw for 4,279 yards with a 29/6 touchdown to interception ratio during his senior year.

I’m not willing to play Dart in redraft this week against the Chargers unless I’m in a deep 2QB league. I do think he’s worth a roster spot in 12-team or deeper leagues with all of the injuries at the position. If nothing else, his rushing ability should provide a solid floor as a fill-in starter going forward.

I don’t think the transition signifies any change in value for any of the Giants’ offensive weapons. I’m starting Malik Nabers and Cam Skattebo every week (at least until Tyrone Tracy returns). Wan’Dale Robinson remains a boom-or-bust flex play against favorable matchups. Let’s see how Dart looks in his first NFL action, but the hope for the Giants is that he improves the situation for both the team and their fantasy players.
