The injuries continue to grow for the San Francisco 49ers. This time, it’s the star tight end George Kittle who is affected. He suffered a hamstring injury in Sunday night’s win against the Seattle Seahawks and is now slated to miss the next four games against the Saints, Falcons, Jaguars and Rams.

Kittle registered four catches, good for twenty-five yards and a touchdown, before the injury. San Francisco will look to lean on workhorse running back Christian McCaffrey, as well as receivers Jauan Jennings, who is dealing with a shoulder injury, and Rickey Pearsall, who finished week one with four receptions and 108 yards. While this hurts both the 49ers and fantasy managers in the short term, this may open up a buy window on Kittle, who can be a league winner later in the season. While Kittle is on the injured reserve, managers who are short on tight end depth can look to add Jake Tonges as a waiver replacement. Production could be boom or bust, but he was involved in the passing game, finishing the game with three receptions and a touchdown.
