Eno Benjamin’s season will end before it even begins as he tore his Achilles this week. The injury leaves the Saints with just 3 RBs, only Kendre Miller and Jamaal Williams while Alvin Kamara is suspended. It’s possible that they bring in a Free Agent soon.

Last season, Benjamin filled in admirably for the Cardinals while James Conner was injured. In Week 7. He had an impressive 113 yard 1 TD game against the Saints. When Conner returned, Benjamin’s role was reduced which ultimately led to his release.

The Achilles injury is one of the toughest to return from for a RB. James Robinson and Cam Akers both struggled last year and they were true starters. Eno Benjamin is only 24, but with his contract ending this season- he’s going to have a tough  time making it back onto the field.
