The Seahawks continue to rebuild their offense by adding a dynamic pass catching weapon.
Elijah Arroyo may be a slow burn in fantasy with this landing spot, however the second round capital is cause for celebration. One of the biggest question marks in Arroyo’s profile was his injury history, particularly his knee. The draft capital is an indicator that Arroyo is good to go, and he’s got the size and athleticism to really make an impact – a 4.64 40-yard dash at 6’5” and 250 lbs. gives him a 87% speed score.
The PlayerProfiler analytics team has an initial projection of a 9% target share (50 targets) for about 350 yards and 3 touchdowns. This would place Arroyo outside the top 30 TE’s in his position for 2025. However there’s a lot to like long term, Seattle has the 4th highest vacated targets, on top of that JSN and Cooper Kupp are both experts at the slot position — in Miami Arroyo actually ran deep routes to allow Xavier Restrepo to take the underneath work. Most Tight Ends take a while to ramp anyway, Arroyo should be a great pickup in the late 2nd/early 3rd round of Dynasty leagues.
