Former Miami Hurricane TE Arroyo flashes elite skill on Day 1 of Senior Bowl practice
Tight end Elijah Arroyo came into the week as the 2nd most notable tight end at the Senior Bowl, behind record setting tight end Harold Fannin Jr.
Arroyo announced his presence during practice drills, dominating in 1 on 1s as a pass catcher. Among the skills on display: explosive and precise route running, separating at the top of routes, and plucking passes out of the air routinely.
Arroyo will look to stack days with another strong performance day 2 with the hopes of continually improving his draft stock. The former 4 star recruit and 2024 2nd team All-ACC TE profiles as a traditional in-line or “Y” TE, but his performance today was eye opening and points to a much higher ceiling.
