Jameson Williams flashes game breaking ability in playoff loss.
Jameson Williams became a full time player for the first time in 2024, and he delivered on the promise that made him the 12th overall pick in the 2022 draft. He scored on reverses and deep bombs alike, showing game breaking speed that many dynasty players have been waiting to see get deployed for years.
Williams finished 2024 with 91 targets, 58 catches 1001 yards and 7tds receiving, all career highs by a large margin. His longest play came in week 16, where he ran a deep post pattern for an 82 yard TD. On the breathtaking bomb, he ran by 2 Chicago Bears defenders like they were standing still, catching the ball in stride and running untouched into the end zone. In the Divisional round loss to the Commanders, he scored on a 66 yard end around and had one of the more fineable celebrations you will ever see. He has Tyreek Hill level breakaway speed.
So you held Jameson Williams for the vaunted 3rd year breakout, now what? Williams performance in 2024 is not indicative that he reached his ceiling and he is in an elite offensive ecosystem that has proven it can support a multitude of options to fantasy relevance. Currently our 35th ranked WR in dynasty, he would be an absolute steal of a buy in ANY bestball format. Keep, Trade, Cut has him even in value with assets like George Pickens, a mid 2026 1st, and Kenneth Walker. I am IN on buying him at those prices.
