Tank Dell is the top faller in PlayerProfiler’s Dynasty Deluxe lifetime value rating for the end of January.
Tank Dell has had a nasty stretch of injuries over the two past years, dealing with multiple season-ending injuries and a gunshot wound. While he was able to recover from his broken leg suffered in 2023 to play 14 games in 2024, he wasn’t quite as explosive or productive as he was in his rookie season.
Things looked to be changing for Dell, as he was in the middle of his most productive game of the 2024 season in week 16 versus Kansas City before he suffered a gruesome knee injury that involved a dislocation and multiple ligament tears. His Quarterback, C.J. Stroud, was visibly emotional after seeing Dell suffer the injury.
Dell faces a long road to recovery with multiple surgeries. At this point, it’s unclear if he’ll be available at all for the Texans 2025 season. While no one is likely to want acquire him in dynasty right now, he’s worth holding onto, and don’t be afraid to see if you can secure any sort of return for trading him, as his future looks murky at best at this point.
