Adonai Mitchell is one of the top fallers in PlayerProfiler’s Dynasty Deluxe lifetime value rating for the month of July.
Mitchell appeared to be a lock for a first-round selection following the NFL Combine, where he posted a nearly perfect 9.99 Relative Athletic Score with exceptional running and jumping measurements. While Mitchell didn’t necessarily excel in combine drills or interviews, no one anticipated him falling to the 20th pick of the second round. To compound matters, he landed on a team boasting a proven WR1 in Michael Pittman and a formidable running game featuring Anthony Richardson and Jonathan Taylor.
Heading into training camp, reports indicate that Mitchell’s role as Indy’s WR2 is uncertain. Josh Downs is entrenched as the primary slot receiver, and Alec Pierce, another second-round pick, remains in the team’s plans. Despite Mitchell’s substantial dynasty value, Fantasy Managers should explore trading him for a player with a clearer path to high-end production in 2024.
