Dylan Sampson and Jerome Ford Are Rising on Underdog

After the Quinshon Judkins arrest, Browns running backs Dylan Sampson and Jerome Ford are rising on Underdog.

The rapid news cycle of the NFL season is fast approaching. It has been a rather quiet offseason as it relates to NFL players getting into trouble. That changed Saturday night when the news of Browns rookie 2nd round pick Quinshon Judkins got arrested for battery and domestic violence.

Since Saturday, both Dylan Sampson and Jerome Ford have seen a significant ADP rise. Sampson, who was drafted in round 4 from Tennessee, moved up 9.4 spots from the middle of the 17th round on Underdog to the late 16th round. Ford has moved up 7.7 spots to the early part of round 18.

Both Sampson and Ford should expect a more meaningful rise in ADP should the news worsen for Judkins. Judkins has seen his ADP drop 4.5 spots into the middle of round 7. Regardless of Judkins’ status, it is smart to click Sampson and Ford at their ADP just by virtue of drafting backup running backs who can become starters. With there being added risk to Judkins’ future, Sampson and Ford become a higher priority in their respective ADP ranges.
