Despite him not participating in throwing drills at the NFL Combine, Drake Maye is still impressing talent evaluators. Scouts are coming away with very positive impressions from his interviews and are speaking glowingly about his arm talent as well. Maye should be considered the favorite to be the No.2 pick in the NFL Draft, a selection currently held by the Commanders.

While Maye doesn’t possess the rushing upside of Jayden Daniels, he is the much safer quarterback prospect. In all, he is a very good prospect who would provide a major quarterback upgrade for any of the teams at the top of the draft board.
