Michigan’s Donovan Edwards has an impressive Combine.
Running back Donovan Edwards out of Michigan raised his stock in this year’s NFL Draft with an impressive performance. He came in at 5’11” and weighed 205 pounds. Despite his rough performance in his senior year at Michigan, where he had only 589 yards and 4 touchdowns. He had good day at the NFL Combine running a 4.44 40-yard dash, which was tied for 9th fastest at the running back position. He did display his strength putting up 23 reps on the bench press, which led all running backs and even more than some lineman. He also looked good during on field workouts.
Although Edwards made it on the cover of NCAA College Football, his hype didn’t live up to his expectations during his Senior Season. However, his Combine performance make him for an interesting prospect and should get selected between round 3 and 5 in this year’s NFL Draft.
