With the hiring of new Head Coach Kellen Moore, its believed that Derek Carr will be the starting quarterback for the New Orleans Saints to begin the season.  Carr only appeared in 10 games for the Saints this season due to various injuries he suffered throughout the season.  He will have to learn a new playbook with Moore.

In fantasy, Carr had a career best season, finishing as QB-12 in 2016.  That would be a very high ceiling to reach again, but he has made a living being the QB 15-20 on a yearly basis.  He will have to start and play in all 17 games in order to get to those numbers. Under Kellen Moore, Derek Carr can perhaps be a plug and play in dynasty leagues as a team’s third quarterback.
