DeAndre Hopkins, current yardage leader among active players looks to add Super Bowl champ to his resume.
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins is the current leader among active players for receiving yards with 12, 965. The 3-time first-team All-Pro has had a decorated career, but one thing has escaped him throughout the 12 seasons he has played. Hopkins had never appeared in a conference championship before this season, let alone a Super Bowl. Now at age 32, he’s on the verge of adding champion to his hall-of-fame resume before he submits it to Canton.
Hopkins was traded to the Kansas City Chiefs from the Tennessee Titans on October 24, 2024. Hopkins was in the final year of his 2-year deal in Tennessee. After a loss to Buffalo, Hopkins expressed to then Titans general manager Ran Carthon that he was “no longer having fun” on a team where his usage had waned, and was destined for the #1 overall selection in the 2025 NFL draft.
Hopkins usage has remained light in the postseason, running 23 routes across the Chiefs playoff run. The prospective hall of fame has totaled just 3 targets and 11 yards in 2 games, and it seems like a great time to bet the under on his 11.5-yard receiving prop.
