The New York Jets have released wide receiver Corey Davis from the Reserve/Retired list.
Corey Davis stepped away from football in August but has decided to apply for reinstatement from the NFL. Although Davis is a free agent after the Jets released him from the Reserve/Retirement list, there is a chance that he may re-sign with New York. A return to the Jets would give Aaron Rodgers another receiving option to complement third-year wide receiver Garrett Wilson.
Davis has shown plenty of flashes throughout his career but has battled many injuries. The only time he played a full season was back in 2018 when he played for the Titans. For his career, Davis has brought in 273 receptions for 3,879 yards and 17 touchdowns.
The veteran receiver is still 29 years old and is an intriguing option in dynasty leagues. Davis is well-rested and if given the opportunity can provide an excellent depth asset for fantasy managers. You may be able to pry him from another dynasty manager for a fourth-round rookie pick if he is still rostered.
