Even at age 29 Christian McCaffrey remains one of the elite running backs in the league, he proved it once again with 81 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries and another 40 yards and one score on five receptions.

While injuries and age have sapped some of his explosiveness, his longest run for the season was the 20 yarder he had against the Arizona Cardinals, his dual threat ability, instincts and vision are still second to none. Brian Robinson Jr. carried eight times for 24 yards.

Robinson Jr. will continue to rotate in to spell McCaffrey but this remains McCaffrey’s backfield and he remains a locked in running back one for fantasy managers.
