Christian McCaffrey is the son of a 3X Super Bowl Champion, and he hopes to add a trophy to the family’s collection.
Most football fans you talk to outside of Baltimore think of one player if you ask them, “Who is the most valuable player to their team in the NFL?” That player is San Francisco 49ers do-it-all running back Christian McCaffrey. If the Kansas City Chiefs want a chance to win Super Bowl 58, they’ll have to devise a way to stop CMC.
Fantasy players know, CMC is virtually unstoppable. The 49ers know it too. And in a week where team performance is paramount, check out this stat: When the 49ers have their Big 4 on the field and healthy at the same time, that big 4 being McCaffrey, TE George Kittle, and wide receivers Brandon Aiyuk and Deebo Samuel, CMC averages 142.4 scrimmage yards.
That happened 10 times in 2023. CMC totaled one thousand 424 total yards in those 10 games alone.
If the 49ers win, CMC will be the major factor.
And with CMCs dad, Ed, being a Super Bowl Champ, an SF win over KC in SB LVIII will mean C = MC squared.
