Experiencing back tightness, the Saints alpha wide receiver is not expected to have a lengthy absence from training camp.
Saints wide receiver Chris Olave is starting training camp on the NFI list. Nick Underhill reports that Olave is battling through some back tightness and that the injury is not significant. There seems to be a very low level of concern.
With there being plenty of time before the season starts, the Saints are being cautious with their alpha wide receiver. Chris Olave was WR-16 in 2023 and is going at pick 16.9 in the 2nd round on UnderDog. At 24 and heading into his third NFL season, expect a breakout for Olave in the Klint Kubiak offense which relies on a lot more pre-snap motion and offering disguised looks to confuse the defense.
