The Detroit Lions selected CB Terrion Arnold with the No.24 pick in the NFL Draft.
Terrion Arnold was the No.1 cornerback according to many draft analysts and represents an outstanding value as the No.24 pick in the draft. Detroit moved up in the draft to select Arnold and the hometown crowd was excited as well. A First Team All-American in 2023, he quickly became a top prospect after intercepting 5 passes in 2023 for the Crimson Tide.
Arnold will now pair with another fellow Alabama alumni, Brian Banch, to create a dynamic secondary in Detroit. While both are talented, Arnold should fill in as the CB1 sooner rather than later. Lions’ general manager Brad Holmes made the secondary a priority this offseason and they should be one of the most improved units in the NFL in 2024.
