Bryce Young Sets Panthers Record in Win

Bryce Young and the Carolina Panthers take down the Atlanta Falcons 30-27 in overtime while setting a franchise record.

Bryce Young overcame right ankle pain in the first quarter and would go on to not only lead Carolina to an overtime win but would also set the franchise record for passing yards in a game with 448 yards, surpassing the record of 432 set by Cam Newton.

Young bounced back from an ugly performance against the Saints in week 10, which saw him throw for only 124 passing yards. He spread the ball around on Sunday, but the primary beneficiary was Tetairoa McMillian, who finished the game with eight receptions, 130 yards and two scores. This win completes the sweep against their divisional rival and moves them within half a game of Tampa Bay for the division lead. Young finished Sunday with a stat line of 31 completions on 45 attempts, totalling 448 yards and three touchdowns.

The Carolina Panthers face the San Francisco 49ers on Monday Night Football in Week 12 action.
