Mike Gesicki
Bengals Bring Back Gesicki

The Cincinnati Bengals re-signed Mike Gesicki to a 3-year, $25.5 million deal.

The Bengals have had a lot to chew on already this offseason. As we await the results of contract talks with Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, the team continues to address its more manageable roster concerns. Bringing back Gesicki after a 65-catch, 665-yard season seems like a good move. The veteran was an explosive weapon in their prestigious offense last season.

This is good news for dynasty owners as well. Cincinnati invests some long-term capital in a guy you’re hopefully using as a bye-week replacement, and he stays in a situation that has proven successful. The team also re-signed Tanner Hudson to a one-year deal, making another significant addition to the position in either the draft or free agency unlikely. Gesicki will be an intriguing option for tight-end-needy teams again next season.
