Jacksonville makes a play for the future by drafting the uber athlete runner from Virginia Tech

Virginia Tech running back Bhayshul Tuten could be the back of the future for what’s shaping up to be a dangerous Jacksonville offense. Although a bit small for a bell-cow at 5’9″ and 206 lbs., Tuten made a name for himself at the combine with his elite speed and agility. Over his college career, he amassed 3,584 rushing yards, 865 receiving yards, and 49 total touchdowns. In his senior season, he rushed for 1,159 yards and 15 touchdowns, while adding 81 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns. This is plenty of production to add to his physical traits.

Tuten’s selection by the Jaguars adds depth to a backfield that includes Travis Etienne Jr. and Tank Bigsby, he should immediatly push Bigsby out while competing for the primary back role. Etienne is on the last year of his contract and could potentially lose the job to Tuten this year, the rookies speed and versatility as a runner and receiver make him a valuable asset for Dynasty leagues.
