Reports are that the Pittsburgh Steelers gave Aaron Rodgers 48 hours pre-draft to make a decision regarding his future. Leaving all eyes glued on day 2 of the draft and what direction they will go.
Here we are in the lead up to day 2 of the draft and we have no announcement from either party (Rodgers or the Steelers) that seems like a strong indication of where the wind is blowing in regards to his current interest with the Steelers. Will Pittsburgh address QB on day 2 with Shedeur Sanders still available among others? Will that signify the end for their QB search?
As the days tick by it seems more and more likely that Rodgers is leaning toward retirement. It hardly seems a fitting end for one of the great QBs of this era. Hopefully there is some kind of swan song for Rodgers as a late season fill in.
