Eagles WR A.J. Brown has big day in NFC championship with a trip to Super Bowl on the line.
The Eagles passing game and offensive coordinator Kellen Moore had been heavily scrutinized during the 2025 postseason, with Jalen Hurts averaging 129 yards per game in the previous 2 games. That limited passing game production stifled the production of the Eagles receivers, particularly the 3x All Pro A.J. Brown.
Brown had recorded just 3 catches for 24 yards in the 2025 postseason for the Eagles. Sunday the passing game was efficient and effective, with Brown leading the wide receiver corps with 6 catches, 96 yards and a score on 8 targets. Brown battled and bested the Commanders corners all day on Sunday, getting the best of the always contentious Marshon Lattimore.
There are no questions about the abilities of the Eagles star receiver, as he typically produces when called upon. Brown had an uncharacteristically bad day last week, with several key drops in his limited opportunities. The Eagles never lost faith and Brown rose to the occasion on Sunday, carrying the Eagles passing game. The Eagles will look for A.J. Brown to be dominant again in Super Bowl 59 in two weeks.
