Whether Chase Edmonds’ injury is short-term or if it lasts longer, the Cardinals have confidence in James Conner, and we must too. Ride with Conner if he’s on your roster. Also consider stashing Eno Benjamin in the event Edmonds misses any time.

Ride the wave and confidently start all your Colts. Look for backup Colts for the end of your bench. If Michael Pittman is still attainable, do what you can to get him. Get Donovan Peoples-Jones now if he’s available. Don’t bother with Odell Beckham but feel free to sell quickly if he lands in an exciting location.

Jonathan Taylor is blossoming into the workhorse back we’ve known him capable of, right in time for a healthy O-line to pave the way. He ran a season-high 27 routes compared to Nyheim Hines’ 16, the highest differential this season. Hines is desperately clinging to the 2-minute role, playing a pesky 31 percent of snaps. 11 of his 16 routes happened during the 2-minute drill or 4th quarter. Fire up JT with confidence as a bonafide top 5 RB rest of the season.

Enjoy Mike White’s performance. Don’t expect it to continue, but today showed us that in an emergency, go ahead and break the glass that is any starting NFL QB. Even in really bad matchups, when you have to take a chance, you have to take a chance.

Like the Jets, lean on Michael Carter. He fits today’s NFL. He’s agile, quick enough, and a solid pass catcher. Receiving backs will always put up stats. He has now proven himself a high-floor, high-ceiling rookie. Winning or losing, the Jets will give him the ball.

I’m stoked to see Kenny Gainwell get more touches. I think Philly is better than they have looked in the offense. So many of Hurts’ deep balls have been just too long, I think he starts to connect on a few more of those and we start seeing more production through the air. Losing Ertz and Sanders = more targets for smith, Goedert, Gainwell, Watkins, and Reagor.

Just six games into his rookie season, Kyle Pitts’ 10.7 Yards Per Target is No. 2 among all players this season, not just tight ends, with at least 40 targets. His 15.2 Yards Per Reception is No. 4, again, among all players with at least 30 catches on the year. Not much to do now. If you already have him on your dynasty roster, you are set for a long time. If you don’t, sorry, it’s too late.

Acquire Damien Harris in both dynasty and redraft. His lack of playing time and non-involvement in the passing game make him more affordable than his talent says he should be. He’s a good, steady back, one you can count as an RB2 or Flex most weeks. In redraft, be cautious though, because the Patriots have a tough upcoming schedule; facing the Bills twice plus the Chargers, Browns, and Titans in the weeks to come.

Another week of the NFL season flies by. Attending the Carolina Panthers vs Minnesota Vikings game was the highlight of my weekend and I think would have been my favorite game to watch regardless. We are through six weeks in the NFL season, and currently looking at 3 three-win teams in the playoffs and multiple under .500 that are very much in the hunt. The 18th week and the seventh playoff team will surely make this one interesting heading into the middle six of the season.

Start Antonio Brown and Leonard Fournette every week. Play Chris Godwin and Mike Evans as needed, but expect volatility; Antonio is Tom’s WR BFF. When Gronk returns, there’ll be (cliché alert!) even more mouths to feed… but Antonio will get his targets.

If you don’t already have Ja’Marr Chase on your roster, there isn’t much you can do now. If you drafted him very early in rookie drafts as directed this offseason by PlayerProfiler and the Breakout Finder, you’ve won. If you didn’t, there’s no way you’ll get him now. As to his Bengal teammates, if you have Tee Higgins or Tyler Boyd, they are still OK as a WR2 or WR3, but don’t expect much more out of them.

Through five weeks, it is all but clear in the NFC who the top dog is, The Arizona Cardinals beat the Rams in Week 4 and the Rams beat Tampa in Week 3. The Cowboys are 4-1 with one of the most explosive offenses in the NFL, and we haven’t even talked about Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay or the two most underrated defenses in the NFL in Minnesota and Carolina.

The Seattle Seahawks are on pace to give up the most yards in NFL history at over 450 yards a game. They are No. 30 against the run and No. 29 against the pass. After surrendering 476 yards to the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday night, Seattle has given up almost 500 yards per game since their Week 1 slog with Indianapolis. Opponents have scored in over 42-percent of their offensive drives. Play anyone & everyone against the Seahawks. Start your Steelers, Saints and Jaguars before the Seahawks Week 9 bye.

Carolina will live or die on their defense, Christian McCaffrey, and D.J. Moore. When McCaffrey comes back, he’ll get the goal line carries. Take that away and Sam Darnold won’t do much for your fantasy team. Sell him now to QB-needy squad. If you don’t see much interest after Darnold’s weak Week 5 showing, hang on for upcoming matchups against Minnesota and Atlanta and then move him if you still can.
