Below, Tyler Knaeble breaks down waiver wire running backs to stream in round one of the fantasy playoffs – Week 15.

The fantasy playoffs are finally here and we have some new and interesting running backs that are BURSTING onto the scene and are more than capable of winning your league! Let’s dive right in!

Zach Charbonnet, Seattle Seahawks

There aren’t many other running backs in the league who have as much handcuff upside than Zach Charbonnet. With Kenneth Walker out in Week 14 against the Cardinals, Charbonnet put up an overall RB1 finish with 22 carries, 193 total yards and two touchdowns. In the three games Walker has missed with injury, Charbonnet has five total touchdowns.

With Walker still questionable with a calf injury, Charbonnet could be in another great spot to have a productive week. He will have Green Bay at home who allow the 11th-most fantasy points per game to running backs. Charbonnet should be in your lineup no matter what if Walker is unable to go.

Patrick Taylor, San Francisco 49ers

Who would’ve thought back in August that Patrick Taylor could be a potential league winner for the fantasy football playoffs!? Christian McCaffrey, Elijah Mitchell, Jordan Mason and now potentially Isaac Guerendo are all hurt. Taylor saw limited work last week against the Bears, but seven carries for 25 yards and a touchdown isn’t too bad!

The 49ers did sign Israel Abanikanda last week, but I just don’t know if he knows much of the playbook and I just don’t know if he’s good. If Abanikanda was good, he wouldn’t have been a free agent even though he’s still so young. If Guerendo is unable to go, I think Taylor has the inside track over Abanikanda against the Rams who allow almost the league average points to RBs. Taylor is certainly a name to watch and definitely worth a pick up.

Braelon Allen/Isaiah Davis, New York Jets

Both Braelon Allen and Isaiah Davis had respectable weeks with Breece Hall unable to go in Week 14, and it’s looking like that could be the case again in Week 15. We saw virtually a split backfield with Allen getting 11 carries and Davis getting 10 and each getting five-plus targets.

It’s even more juicy when you consider their matchup against the Jags, a team that allows the second-most points, the most receptions and the most receiving yards to opposing fantasy running backs. I think both are good starts, but if I had to pick one, I would lean on Isaiah Davis.
